selmmuir fishery update 2/7/10
on wednesday the fish where on dry fly all day with a nice westly wind,i caught about 10 trout myself on a size 18 fulling mill grey paradun fished static, with some anglers doing well with dawl bachs sub surface, the evening session was a little harder for some anglers as it went flat calm and lot's of midges putting anglers off with 1 or 2 anglers going onto a slow sink and yellow dancer getting couple of fish, into thursday 1st july i was wet and windy start to the day with most anglers using midge tip lines and lures with the black rabbit with green bead catching most bag limits, with gorden craig from edinburgh catching his 5 fish and mr lane from rosyth catching his 5 fish again mostly on lures, tom murray from livingston lost a very big fish that every body on the water could see jumping at least 3 times better luck next time tom,we are having our early morning session saturday at 3am so am hoping for a great session,i will update tommorrow with outcome.
